It’s for people who already know and understand the fundamentals. This course is not for people brand new to InDesign. If you’re one of those people using InDesign and you know there is probably a better way, a faster way to work then this is your course. There is entire section dedicated to how to speed up your personal workflo w & how to speed up InDesign and get it running super fast. You’ll become a master of long, text heavy documents, auto-flowing, primary text frames & smart text reflow, cross referencing, indexes, text variables & the InDesign book feature. However, when the text reflows, instead of adding another page to the end of the section Book1: the text flows. As I study more of each text, I add my notes to the end of each section. You’ll learn the pros & cons of various digital distribution methods including Interactive PDF’s, EPUBs & the amazing Publish Online. Each section is my own notes on several different books I am studying. We’ll make beautiful charts & graphs for your InDesign documents. You’ll become a Styles master, using nested styles, grep styles, next styles & advanced object styles. What would an advanced InDesign course be without all the tactics to f ully control paragraphs, auto expanding boxes, spanning & splitting columns. We’ll set permanent defaults for fonts, colours & will learn how to turn hyphenation off for good, once and for all. Ill also be applying Master Pages for the Chapter Openings, 17 in all. Smart text reflow totally works according to your template/documents, it behaves same with script or without script. I want my text to flow through the book in those text frames, as I add and resize 200 photos. You will master colour features like the colour theme tool and colour modes as well as professional proofing for colours for print. Im using A-Master and setting up Primary Text Frames. You will learn all about Typekit & Opentype fonts, font grouping & font pairing. This course will teach you some of the most useful and advanced tricks in Adobe InDesign.
